I love riding the ferry if you want to take the ferry make sure you leave early in case the ferry is on the other side. It only takes around 20mins to cross over either way. You can take it to go to Nashville,or clarksville, or even Paris, or Dover. Any other little towns between here and there.

Cross the Tennessee River for a buck? This is a no-brainer. Be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before closing, or you will be left on the shore. Don't miss the partially submerged grain elevator!

A very scenic and fun trip!
Nice ride across the Tennessee river for minimal cost. Friendly attendant. Good view of the old abandoned Danville grain elevator which has two or three floors above water depending on the lake level.
