Highly recommend Joe Kunkel, Blind Repair Tech &More. He totally restrung two wooden blinds that match the rest I have throughout my home. His work is perfect and reasonable. I did not want to try to match what I have. The wood trim is held to the blind with a magnetic strip and the blinds slide straight out by lifting the tab at each end upward, see pics:
Joe did a wonderful job with my blinds! When he ordered one piece that needed to be replaced, the company didn’t have one, so Joe created his own, which worked perfectly. When he had to order parts, he would always call promptly, explain the need for the part and tell me when the part would be expected. He was very professional in his work and communication. His prices were reasonable as well. I will always go to Joe with any repairs of my blinds I might need. I can trust him to do it right!

Joe just finished doing some blind repair work at our home. We had a blind that was about 18" too long, so Joe removed 7 slats and restrung the blind. He then also shortened the pull cord on the rest of the blinds in our home and adjusted the blinds so they all work properly. And he did that all within the trip charge. Highly recommended!
