We love dealing with companies that do all they can to accommodate your needs and this company does just that! We rented a Golf cart while on Upper Captiva ( A MUST on the island) and were greeted by wonderful associates that checked us in quickly and got us on our cart and out the door! During our visit, our cart got a flat tire ( there is some construction going on on the island) and they fixed it with a new tire immediately with out a wait, and we were once again on our way. I highly recommend them for renting golf carts, kayaks and other fun island adventures!

The Boat’s and Fun staff are some of the friendliest, helpful and kind people you will run into on the island. Knowledgeable about their business and location and very conversational while just passing the time with their patrons. All of your island and on the water needs can be met in one spot, while visiting North Captiva.
I have rented from others but the fleet they have here is by far the best and NEWEST!!! The boat was super fresh and well maintained!! loved it
My family of 5 used the private taxi service provided by boats and fun for our stay on upper cap. They were very accommodating with helping us load and unload our belongings. Enjoyed talking with the captains about local lore and favorite fishing spots.
We took a private island tour with Boats and Fun and it was amazing! “Captain Bill” took us to a secluded sandbar where we found dozens of sand dollars, and then around to Cabbage Key where we had an amazing lunch and the kids got to play with tortoises! Bill was full of stories and information about the islands we passed... and we even got some aerial photos from his manager who did a “fly by” in their plane!
We rented "The Shark" and took it over to Captivas Jensen Marina. We then went out to some fishing spots that Captain Ron provided. We also rented 3 poles from Boats and Fun and caught 1 blowfish (we threw back) 4 catfish and 1 blue runner. The GPS system was very easy to follow. The crew were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a BLAST and would do it again and recommend for anyone visiting North Captiva Island.
It should be called Boats and No Fun because that is how we felt after our experience. My family recently rented a boat from Boats and Fun on North Captiva. The first day was great. On the second day after exiting the marina, it was very clear to us that it was not a good day for boating due to winds. We made it to a nearby marina to fill the boat with gas and was told they were discouraging their boat renters from going out that day. We decided that there would be no way that we could have any fun at all with the high winds and choppy waters and seven people on the boat and decided to return to the Boats and Fun Marina around 11:30 am. Boats and Fun did not care even though the conditions were such that the ride would have been no fun and everyone on the boat would have been bounced around. We proposed a credit toward another half day rental and they said no. They ended up only giving us a 69 credit, the difference between a half and full day rental (we essentially paid half day price - for about an hour and a half on the water that day). We cannot understand why they would insist on making people feel the need to take their boats out in uncomfortable and possibly unsafe conditions. Customer service is severely lacking and customer satisfaction, is apparently, not a concern of theirs.
Boats and Fun was so great to work with. They are friendly, helpful, thorough, and always there when you have questions. I have rented multiple golf carts from them and a boat. They are the best!
