Tastes fresh, bring your own knife if you can shuck or be prepared to pay a lot extra. Also bring your favorite hot sauce, they sell hot sauce by the bottle only. Overall, my wife loves it here.

Tasty chowder! Very covid conscious and efficient! Everywhere else in bodega bay was packed with lines longer than any hungry human wants to wait and this place had me in and out! Seems family owned and well run! Safely support the locals these times have been tough!!

Was a big fan of this location and visited pretty often. Today I got a dozen of oysters on a half shell and 2 of them were rotten. I spent 10 minutes coughing and then returned back to the store to request a full refund (I finished 7 fresh ones before eating the rotten ones). I requested the store employees a full refund and they refused me and offered to give 2 fresh ones instead. This is ridiculous and disrespectful to customers.
