Beautiful location and lovely house. Spent 4 days in number 10. Unfortunately furniture is of poor quality and appears poorly self assembled. It has not withstood the test of time or usage. Wobbly, loose, poorly cushioned. Beds squeek to the point annoyance. Barstools are rediculously under cushioned. Backs of chairs falling off. Great potential but cheeply assembled.

The best way I could describe this lake house rental is \serviceable.\ It worked for what we needed, but the house needed a serious cleaning, the beds we're horribly uncomfortable, and the rest of the furniture was mediocre at best. It's definitely not the worst place I've ever stayed, but it's far from the best as well.
It's great place to relax
This is a great spot on Lake Martin. Great amenities and convenient to other lake destinations, boat rental, restaurants,etc.

We planned a family trip to Lake Martin and chose Bolton Cove as our destination spot. We rented houses 9 & 10 and were quite impressed. Both houses were immaculate. We felt at home the entire time we were there! The many benefits include: small gated community of 4 houses sitting in one of the best locations on the lake, the sunrises and sunsets are absolutely gorgeous, it features a small playground, clean and spacious pool area w/a beautiful pool house and adjoining beach area, the luxurious houses on the property are spacious and very accommodating with large balconies and exceptional layouts, the kitchens are equipped with a variety of appliances including a stainless steel range with a built in griddle, a wine cooler and spacious refrigerator are also part of the package, large screen TVs adorn the walls of the living area and master suites alond with exceptionally comfortable furniture and other amenities. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect get-away spot. We highly recommend this location and any other rental that Mr. Courtland Davis has available. We will be returning again on future vacations.
