Your Tech is wonderful! The owner Clayton and his crew installed my home's very large flat screen, Apple TV, and surround sound system. They did a excellent job and were professional, clean, prompt, and took extra time to explain to my very demanding wife how the system works. I can’t thank them enough for the extra time and care they gave to us. The girl in the office even gave my wife a follow up call to see how she was doing with the new systems while Clayton followed up with me seperatly. I would highly recommend Your Tech to anyone that wants the job done with care and expertise. I will be using them again for sure.

I had to fire YourTechFL after paying them 25K to do automation for my new construction house in Old Naples. I forfeited the remaining 5 months on the 12-month contract to get rid of them. Dealing with the owner, Clayton Varner, was a very unpleasant experience right to the end. He always showed up in flip-flops, which was emblematic of the quality of his delivery and professionalism. I didn’t find him trustworthy. Firing him wasn’t a difficult decision. I wouldn’t have allowed him back in my home to do warranty service. I valued the monitoring service at less-than-zero. He was already unwilling (I think unable) to fix the security issues that had been identified in the system he installed. I could detail all the problems beyond security issues, but I think the most useful information I can provide is the opinion of a third-party expert. I think that will help you develop your own opinion on this vendor. For business reasons, the cyber security lead of a major corporation evaluated my home network, not to create extraordinary security, but just to ensure a standard reasonable for any residence. In addition to his corporate work, this expert was a professor at a major American university. This is the opinion the expert wrote to me about Clayton Varner: This guy is a joke. What he says makes no sense. Not only does he not know security, he doesn’t know much about networking either. The reasoning in his email response blows my mind. I am sorry that you had to deal with this. Unfortunately, there are too many small businesses that see an opportunity in home automation and jump at it without having much knowledge.

Their driver is a maniac... passed me going at least 95 mph in a pickup. Rode me, then cut me off and nearly ran me off the road with inches to spare. Tried to call the company to notify them and they can’t even answer the phone. Despicable.
