I had an excellent experience today at Urban Cycles. Rodel helped me with a flat tire, recommended a new one, and explained why it would be better to what I had. The price was fair, service fast and well done.

Booked to keep my bags there through Stasher. Called in advance -- they didn't pick up the phone. Hours on the web site and on the phone suggested the place would be open. Showed up after walking with my bags for 20 mins. Guess what?! They are closed! The sign on the door refers to a date that doesn't exist.
Unbelievably bad customer service. Brought my bike into the shop to swap out a crank set. They installed the brand new crank and put on my existing pedals that had been working totally fine with the previous crank. On the first ride after picking up my bike with the new crank the pedals stripped out. Spoke to the owner Andrew Prescott and he said that it must be the pedals fault when clearly they were installed incorrectly by HIS team. He told me he would try to make it right and then 4 days later after hearing nothing I have to call and find out they want to charge me 210 for a new crank and instillation. This is making it right with the customer?? My advice is to go literally anywhere but here. The owner said that he felt like I was accusing him and that he just wanted to get my bike out if the shop. Gladly. Would never think to ever go back and give them another dime and I hope people take my advice here. Owner Andrew doesn’t take responsibility for his mistakes and tries to insult the customer saying I don’t know what I’m taking about. If this happens to you just file a complaint with the BBB. That’s what I’m going to do. ZERO STARS if I could. DON’T GO HERE!!!
Love this place! They have a friendly and attentive staff. Their store is full of great essentials for riding. We brought our bikes in a few times to have serviced and they are quick and kept us updated throughout the process. Highly recommend Urban Cycles!
Couldn't recommend this place strongly enough. I've been going here for all my repairs, rentals and general questions since last summer and I've always had a great experience. Jeff in particular is very helpful but all the staff are great. Fantastic customer service, very knowledgeable, feels like you can ask them anything and they'll be able to answer it or at least point you in the right direction. Wish I could give 10 stars instead of 5.
