This was a great little place to stay. I stayed here a night whilst in the middle of a move ,and being away from the city & right next to a quiet creek was fantastic. I didn't get to use as much of the grounds as I'd desired, but when I head back to the area this will be the place I'll stay so I can explore more later. ;) It was during winter when I stayed so it was a little quieter. BTW, the coffee was awesome too!

The building we rented with friends was old but very well maintained and clean. It has that unique vibe created by all the details - furniture pieces and decorations. It has necessary kitchen appliances, such as fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Hot water in the shower needs some time to go through, but they warn you upfront. Overall great experience.
I'm really confused by all the positive reviews. 130 was ***WAY*** too much for such a run-down room. The mattress was so old and the springs were so busted it was like sharing a hammock with my husband. Make sure you get all your bouldering and hiking in BEFORE sleeping here, because the mattress will mess up your back. Not to mention I sat on the bed to put shoes on and a chunk of wood from the bed or box spring broke and fell out (I promise I'm not that heavy). Furniture was dated, showers were tiny with meh water pressure, ancient carpet, no fans, busted beds. Feels like the owners bought it in 2014, updated the central lodge for pictures, and then did absolutely zero maintenance. If it was 50 or 60 a night I'd get it, but 130? This place gets a two out of five because the room was reasonably clean and the staff person at the front desk was nice. So staffgreat, facilitiesterrible.
I had a wonderful visit, unfortunately it was in March - one week from Covid closures. There weren’t any activities and almost every place was closed, but it was still super relaxing. The room is simple and comfortable. The environment is peaceful and I got a lot of beautiful shots. I would definitely recommend A Lodge for the adventurous traveler with a full itinerary.
Super cute the jacuzzi tub was perfect for helping me to remove my stress from the last year before my birthday today. It was absolutely adorable. Thank you.
I absolutely loved this hotel and it's atmosphere... I needed a place for over a month and they had prorated rooms for the off season at a very, very, reasonable rate. This hotel is nestled about 8 minutes from downtown boulder. The amenities provided here were more than I expected. Including a hot tub, pool, barbecue pit next to a mountain stream, access to hiking trail and local brews on tap in the office. The staff and management we're on point and professional. The 2 months I stayed here, I loved how quiet it was. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a 1 night, 3 night, 30 night's stay that's well worth the money and time.
Stayed overnight here its alittle dated to be nice about it. No complaints but probably wouldn't stay again
We stayed here when we visited Colorado for our elopement (September 2019) and I felt like the staff truly went above and beyond to accommodate us. I needed to ship my dress and other wedding items ahead of me because it was difficult to fly with them and the staff accepted my packages for me and held them! We also needed a backup location in case it rained and Boulder Adventure Lodge was ready to help us with that as well if the need came up. If we ever find ourselves out in the area again I would absolutely book with Boulder Adventure Lodge again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else. It's an awesome little place!
