We came to town for Christmas as family is too far away. Saw that this restaurant had the most reasonable Christmas menu and I was really excited about the menu options and the French aspect, as I love French food. I understand it's a holiday and I give kudos to those that have to work and serve when they'd rather be enjoying time with family, but this meal was absolutely not worth what my husband and I paid. We would have left after the first course, but we thought it would get better. It didn't. We looked around for someone to seat us for a while and it was not busy at all. We got lukewarm water with no ice. The bread we were given, after we got our first course, was completely bland...I have never had bread that terrible. My husband had duck and he said it was too salty and way too much sauce. I had bass that was partially raw. Thank goodness dessert was edible. Again, I understand places may be short staffed during this time and I appreciate that they were there, but I guess I got my hopes and expectations up too high. I won't be back to Brasserie.

Came here for a lunch with my office team - prix-fix menu and a few extra starters later, it turned into a two hour lunch, which left me stuffed and actually tipsy - a great way to spend a sunny Friday afternoon. It is attached to a hotel, so I assume the non-repeat customers are Brasserie's base. Nevertheless, the service was attentive and quick. The food was good, while the wine selection was rather mediocre. Not sure I'd go back here on my own, but it was nice as a work lunch spot.
The food was very good nothing to say, chicken baguette was good with fries! But... Why is it so long? More than 45 minutes to be served. Better to stay in France to have the poor French service! Only 10 persons to serve in all restaurant at 2pm! They bring the bill before dessert.. What is that?
Huh! not bad... located on Michigan Ave in front of Grant Park, this little french food shop is ...nice... The menu is well priced while enjoying huge windows allowing you to view the park across the street. Try the vegetarian Croque, its nine bucks in cheesy spinach heaven :).
Great small restaurant with goid food and excellent service. Ate here more than once during a 10-day trip. I don't recommend the French onion soup, but everything else was delicious. Very reasonable prices, especially for French food :)
French Parisienne Cafe design. Beautiful view of the park and sunrise. Outdoor seating available. Breakfast and lunch great. A must see at least once.
Really nice French bistro atmosphere, great wait staff, cool location, and a full bar with espresso, lattes, etc as well. Mostly simple but good French fare.
So delicious! Wonderful cheese and meat trays, listen to the servers in what they suggest for their chacouterie trays. Simply delightful french food! Highly recommend.
