My bill started at 91.26 a month for a year, then it dropped down to 76 a month. I was so happy, well they merged with spark light and my bill shot up to 126 a month because of new data charges I was not told about so I called and told the lady how discussed I was with this and she talked me into jumping up to a higher data plan. Because from the looks of it it would save me money! Just paid my bill and it’s 129!!! These people are a joke! My internet service has almost doubled! Needless to say, I will be going to another company shortly. Can’t stand companies that take advantage of people! All about the mighty dollar! If you are reading this, shop around, they sure don’t deserve your business! And hey spark light/ new wave, whatever you want to be called, save your response because your full of it! You want to impress me then give me my 76 a month back, if not save your words because they are meaningless!

I have been using NewWave Internet for a good 6 years. Up until last month I would have sworn the service was 5 stars. That has changed and I am running out of patience. I have a problem. But it must not be important enough for NewWave/Sparklight to spend any time to fix. I work from home and I work within an IT group. About 4 weeks ago, I started losing connection. Many times just long enough to close the programs I am in or drop me from business calls. But it is about 20 times a day. I am on hold again waiting to talk to someone! About six calls talking to their automated service and only once have I been able to get someone on the line to talk to. If they can't fix my issue this week, I will look for another provider! 30 minutes plus of my time for each call. I guess they think their time is more important than mine.

So far so good, and when I had a problem they came out on a Sunday to fix it. Was very happy. Unfortunately the problem is my line hangs to low in my drive way.... So american rental accidently got it and pulled it down. But it was a quick fix. Thank God. But I would like the cable hung better so it doesn't happen again.

Most of the time we have decent service. But at the same time every night it goes out for about 15-20 minutes. It sometimes goes out longer than that. It has worked well for teaching online.

The only internet provider that still uses data caps
