My "hot cross bun" was a white bread roll with 5-6 raisins, no spices, and an unflavored icing cross. Very generic, commercial breads in my experience. You can get the same or better quality from the Lunds next door for much cheaper.

This place is great! The bread is always fresh and it’s like a dream come true for any carb loving person like myself. The Cinnamon rolls and the Babka bread are something you should not pass up when stopping here. And always try their seasonal breads or muffins because they are to die for. Oh and... how about just buy one of everything, you really couldn’t go wrong.
We moved and are no-longer next door to Rustica, so I needed to find a new bread store and this place is AMAZING! As a dairy free person, I'm in love with the fact they don't use milk products because it's rare that I can eat everything that a store offers. It's not my favorite bread, which is why it's 4 stars, but the fact that they have such an incredible offering that's all dairy free is phenomenal. I read on their website that even though they're not certified vegan, they don't use animal products either.
First time here and the staff was very friendly and even with a line they get you through very quickly! We will be back many more times, gray place to go if you would like allergy free fresh baked goods!
Staff is superb, professional and friendly. Always offering a taste of freshly made batch. And yup, it works. Always buy more than my plan. The variety is amazing sweet and savory bread cookies and more. Yes, higher price than run of the mill bread but this is artisan very much natural ingredients and flavors that are unique. So of course it is worth it. Parking is easy for the plaza and location is a great one in the 50th street neighborhood. I get a piece of bread every chance I get. So many flavors and types and many seasonal ones. Love this place!
Once you get bread at Breadsmith, you can't choose otherwise! Honey wheat burger rolls are wonderful. You cannot go wrong with any choice in the shop.
So great to have a great bread place in the neighborhood. Our go-to's: pumpkin bread, honey white, brats buns and big hamburger buns.
This place is a go-to for me! Their bread is the only bread we buy (sourdough and honey-wheat) and their coconut scones and chocolate babka are to die for! Highly recommend just about anything from here - and to be sure you like it first, ask for a sample - they’re always free!
