It was over 2 decades when we first experienced Gambrinus cuisine. The new owners unfortunately took off some key design elements of the old place but the overall experience was excellent. The spirit of good food and superb service .

GAMBRINUS CLOSE. !! INSTEAD we have Black Sea Fish and Grill Restaurant It has. alfresco dinning. The decor is Rustic. If you like fish these is the place to eat Restaurant name tells you all you want to know
I want this place to be here and to be successful, that's why I gave it 4 stars. They have good food choices and great draft beer selection with several German beers. They run specialls at a very good price. However, I have few concerns here. First of all prices are a bit more than avarage, probably few dollars more. Another concern I have, they add service charge, this is Brooklyn, far away from tourists, people leave tip here and know how to play the game, adding service charge is not necessary. One more thing, and this is very, very weird and unusual, they add small fee for credit card, on check automatically, without even asking how would you like to pay, fee is already there. This is just straight up bs, almost everybody pays with card, it's is just unfair, especially if prices are already slightly more than avarage. I understand, no one likes to pay credit card fees, but no one charges extra for credit cards. Dear management, if you want returning customers, fix it.
Authentic Uzbek shashlik (kebab) and manty (dumplings). Delicious shurpa (meat soup with clear broth), fresh naan, nice atmosphere! This is a great place to relax and unwind after long day. I haven't been to their outdoors seating, but the the main hall inside is great! It's got soft cushions and thematic decor, but if you aren't okay with hookah (nargileh, shisha) then you might want to dine on their outdoors space or the patio. Only one dish is mediocre and I wouldn't recommend it - bojon (one of the two eggplant salads) because it tastes quite bland and has too much garlic. Otherwise, everything else is delicious! The service is polite, but little bit slow, which shouldn't be a problem when you came to relax and get some rest. Next time I'm coming to test their plov!

Mussels, Harcho soup, tomato juice, bloody mary is just the way it suppose to be. Plov was superior! I DO NOT recommend lobster, overpriced, and its small, the other fact it is not fresh (i mean it was dead way before they prepare it) Also there is a huge alcohol option! If you ever been at 1001 night restautant, this is the place that replaces it! You can see a lot of furniture taken from that restaurant. Waiters are friendly, doing their job well!
