Good for a quick short trip. Walls are not attached to roofs. This voices can be heard from adjacent rooms. Rooms with more than 2 beds are quite congested. Can try alternate hostel accommodation in Manhattan too.

I want to start with the good, so the common area was really cool, the have a pool table, two TVs a good kitchen and so on. Really nice place to be, but you have to go outside to go to that area, it’s right next door, but when I booked the hostel I didn’t know about that. I don’t mind that point, but there are also a few things I also want to mention. When we arrived, we check in and walked in to our room, which is pretty small (4 bedroom) and a guy was already in there, even though we booked a female dorm. We spoke to the staff and he had to change the room, because someone gave him the wrong dorm card to a female dorm. We felt really bad because he was already sleeping and the staff woke him up and changed his room. It was of course not his fault, but also not our fault. It’s also important to mention, that the walls are not connected to the roof, which means you can hear every single noise someone is making even though it’s really quite, you don’t have to worry about waking up to late, because you will wake up by everyone’s alarm. We also came in winter and we didn’t read that they don’t provide real blankets, maybe we shouldn’t have expected that. In Summer it should be fine, because they have thin lines to cover with, but in winter we were freezing. Also it’s pretty loud because the subway is maybe 4min away, which is also an advantage but mainly horrible when you want to sleep. They provide earplugs.

Place is cool but the wall don't go up all the way so you can hear everything going around you and all the bathrooms are public too

Nice hostel. Stuff is very friendly, especially Aygerim. She works at front desk. At this place you could use common area where hosts are playing table tennis, waching tv, playing , playing , cooking or just chilling on the couch.

Pretty clean, well organized, common areas are large and accommodated to anyones needs. Good wifi, 24h reception, you can leave bags after check-out.

this was the worst hostel experience i ever have in my entire life. No place in rooms, no lockers, just a couple showers for all floor, railway just right on the window (i mean, you can touch the railway from the window, that means noise every 30 seconds) someone also stole things from my room ... what a experience. DON'T GO.

Great for what it is, which is bare-bones, no frills accommodations. Right by the train, which is great for getting around, maybe less-great if you have a room next to it. (Earplugs are available at the desk.) Again, this is just a clean place to crash.

One of the worst hostel I have ever been according to value/quality ratio. Personnel was not welcoming, rooms are tiny and every floor is packed, of rooms so they can make more money. Moreover, the rooms are not completely closed to the corridor, so you can hear people from all the rooms snoring or talking all night longo. But there was even other thing that makes things worse, rooms are door to door with an elevated metro, you can enjoy an amusing earthquake every 5-10 minutes. This was never stated in the information of the hostel.
