Stayed there on our first anniversary. We mentioned this upon arrival, and we got a free bottle of champagne delivered to our room - a thoughtful gesture! They also comped our parking.

I had a great, authentic stay last October. Very friendly host and fun travelers, calm and welcoming place. Free coffee and tea in the morning, and a taco truck down the road! Power outlets for bunk beds and locked safes are a plus. Of course it’s a hostel- male rooms are gonna smell a bit and bathrooms can be crowded in the mornings (although clean, like the rest of the houses) but it’s otherwise worth it and a great bargain for your money. Just follow basic hostel etiquette for everyone’s comfort. No complaints about the location for me. Wake up a tad earlier and enjoy a mere 5-minute walk to the metro station! Walking in LA is fun. If you don’t like it, just order a Lyft or Uber right in front of the door.
Let’s start this review by saying... you get what you pay for.... Night 1... the two Korean ladies leave the hostel at 10 pm. She made it clear by saying “do not open the door FOR ANY REASONS, and told us people will come and ask for you to open the front gate but don’t ”... we were sitting and talking outside when some guy shortly after was begging us to open the door, he was shouting profanities. We told him that we couldn’t. When we left the property, he poked me in my eye and screamed profanities. I was so mad. Night after night, drug addicts would come stay, arguments would break out. Didn’t sleep well one single night. The beds were clean, and that’s the best I could say. We ended up checking out early because we were over it completely. 2 bathrooms and 1 shower for entire property. Again, it’s clean and comfortable (for the most part) and basically a gamble with who is staying there. Many house rules as well. There are personal lockers which were a plus. Bring ear plugs and Febreeze... Don’t forget, ‘NO DRUNKEN, & YES QUIET’
loved my trip to LA inspite of Hostel Widblue. Terrible reception is one thing, but a dirty room and bed wasn't something I could sleep in. I didn't spend a single night there, and still got charged for all 5 nights. I found a much better hotel just up the street.
Good. Cheap. Free breakfast. Early check out advised. Be careful of getting back there late. As surrounding areas a little bit dangerous. In B4 nightfall! Bus nearby on hoover. 10 minute walk from stop. Might want to get a taxi back if you are alone!!
Great location. Great room. The beds were very comfortable. It had a separate bath and shower. Easy check in and out. Good Valet service. Great customer service.
This place is absolutely beautiful! Great location too! The staff are great, the hotel is extremely clean (love that), and the room was wonderful!
