you cannot get to governor’s island from this location. it is vital that you do not follow instructions that google maps gives you. does anyone else miss mapquest. does anyone else think that maybe instant but frequently wrong directions were not a good trade for rain that does not burn the skin.

Caution! Ferry commute experience can become very frustrating due the silo mentality of ferrynyc. They just don’t care to alert their daily commuters to adjust their commute time due to the pending arrival of a cruise ship at Red Hook which impacts all commuters on the South Brooklyn line. Shame on ferryNYC, and shame on commuters if they have not voiced their displeasure with the poor planning by ferryNYC/Hornblower.
