The guitar teacher here was incredibly patient and kind. I took a guitar lesson with Scott, who is also an owner of the school. I was blown away by how calm and respectfully he interacted with me. I am somewhat hesitant of one-on-one coaching situations so I was nervous about my first lesson. The instructor Scott, who is also one of the owners, was very easy to communicate with. He built me up when I did something well, and didn’t make me feel bad if there was something I didn’t do well. It was awesome! The space is very clean and perky. There are brightly painted walls and natural light.

I would give Williamsburg Music Studio 10 stars if I could. My kids have been taking lessons here for almost 2 years (2 years in January). I feel so lucky that I found this school when I did. My kids (7 and 9) were starting to fall into the pattern of watching lots of tv and playing on the iPad after school. They have tons of creativity, but I'm very busy! Both my husband and I work. We found it really hard to come up with activities every night to make them feel like 1) they were relaxing/having fun/getting to be a kid as well as 2)enriching their lives. Then, we found Williamsburg Music Studio. The teachers and owner there are so sweet and easy to work with. They've really built-up our kids. The kids enjoy coming to lessons and even asked to make Christmas cards for their teachers. Now, they like classical music! The kids even like listening to it as we do chores around the house. It's become a family activity.
I took 1 guitar lesson here (so far) and it was great! The teacher was very talented, but he didn't make me feel bad about being a beginner. I've always wanted to improve my skills and now I'm on my way! The staff at the front desk was friendly and it's an easy walk from the Bedford stop.
