So I saw this place on a local news story, and I have been wanting to get some good man soap for a while but we all know that's difficult if you order online, you never know what you're getting. So I decided to stop into this store and tell them about my issues and what I was looking for. I have a slight skin condition called a topic dermatitis which makes my skin really dry especially in the winter, so I try to work on it in the spring for shorts wearing season LOL. I walked in this store today not knowing what to expect and the lady who was there helped me tremendously! She didn't just ask about my dry skin and point me in a direction, she wanted to know details like how long, how bad, how often and what I've been doing for it. She proceeded to open some samples and let me smell different things and explain the ingredients in great detail, as well as what might work and what might be a waste of time. By the time I left she had made me a sample of a body butter and we had picked out several soaps and a body scrub. She even took a bare body scrub and put the scent and ingredients in it that we discussed right there in front of my eyes and then put a label and hand wrote on it! It was one of the best customer service experiences I've had in Shreveport in a long time. I tried the products when I got home and they seem to be a very good quality and just might help. I definitely recommend anyone who has skin issues or even smell issues to try this place out!

This place is heaven on earth! Going here is so fun and the soaps are AMAZING!! I highly recommend the soap loofah thing (it’s a mesh bag you put the soap in and it lathers up while you use it)!! The staff is super sweet and extremely helpful. Can’t wait to go back!
Madi is such an amazing employee. She helped me navigate the store and told me everything I needed to know before making my purchases. She even let me help her while she was in the process of making bath salts and it was such a fun and interactive experience. Everything I bought smells amazing, and I love the skin care products.
I love this place! They were so friendly and helpful. If you have sensitive skin, like myself, this is the place to go. The only thing I have to say is the soap is kind of expensive, so get ready to spend some !
Not sure why people are giving it bad reviews considering the store isn't even open yet..I've gotten a few samples from a wonderful employee and let's just say they have some awesome products. Excited for their grand opening!
It's a good environment. Smells great as soon as you walk in. They make everything by hand. My favorite is fresh clean scent. You can apply the body butters and oils to your natural hair. They're all natural, no chemicals. I was told that you can customize your own stuff and they'll create it for you. Just leave your name and email and/or phone number. I told them to think about creating fresh clean scented shampoo bar. They only have 1 shampoo bar that cleanses and conditions. The scent is sort of floral. Not too sweet. Which I like. I took off 1 star due to everything being so expensive compared to the site. I spent 32 just getting the shampoo bar and body butter. Also the location isn't good due starbucks drive thru being a clusterfck as well nearby restaurants.
The first employees met were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and adhering to the city mask ordinance. Today was my third trip to the new Shreveport location. After purchasing several mystery boxes as gifts, thought I'd try one. On my second trip the male behind the register was wearing his mask improperly below his nose. The staff member on the floor assisting me, however, completed the transaction so I was not in contact with him. Today the same male greeted me from across the room. His mask again was improperly worn. Grabbing the mystery box and proceeding to the register, the male came to complete the transaction. I stated by improperly wearing the mask he was placing his customers at risk. No response. When asked if he heard me, his reply was yes. I repeated my statement; no response/action.When asked if the manager was aware he wore his mask improperly, his reply "I am the manager". Upon completing my transaction he wished my a happy rest of my day and Merry Christmas. MY reply, "it would be better if you properly wore your mask". Daily Louisiana is experiencing 1000 - 3000 new Covid-19 cases. Individuals can be asymptomatic regardless of age, gender, etc. This weekend a program aired celebrating teens and youth who succumbed to Covid-19. Clearly, this young manager lacks the maturity to serve as a role model for employees. Furthermore, he lacks the public relations and community awareness skills for effective community interaction and representation. People have a choice where they spend their money. Buff City Soap,is potentially a valuable product for individuals as myself. Health and safety are my priority. I can not feel safe in an environment where city ordinance is ignored, the management does not value customers health, management does not follow yet alone enforce adherence. My experience will be shared with all who will listen. My money will be spent elsewhere.
5 stars, Kudos to Buff City Soap Shreveport. Very unique and cool shop! I absolutely love all of my product selections. The scents are numerous and fantastic. Most importantly, all the ladies in this shop are so kind and helpful. Madi was perfectly welcoming. I can tell she loves her job and explains the stores benefits proficiently. Madi went above and beyond to make my experience very satisfactory. Madi personally made 3 scent items during my initial visit! Thanks a bunch to the whole crew. I recommend you visit
