This is an overdue review. Planning my second trip with them. Made a wonderful Rhine River cruise August 2017 with friends. First time on a boat trip. Loved every minute of it. They made everything easy for guests, they thought of everything to make us comfortable and happy. We were treated like royalty and respectfully every time. Everything was done exceptional. Land trips were planned well to meet varying mobility needs, food was always delicious, they managed gluten and dairy free diet well. Friendly and accommodating staff. Hospitality was exceptional. Laundry service was great. Rooms were comfortable, cleaned daily, shower in bathroom never lost pressure, temperature was steady. Trust and safety were at the forefront. The captain was amazing. We all had an opportunity to eat at the captains table and served beautiful courses. It was a wonderful time. Prefer River cruises over larger cruises, more opportunity to get to know other guests and more relaxing. Met some wonderful people from Canada and the US. Will do it again. Life is Good! :)

Garden Bounty

Sailed on the AMA Magna along the Danube in August 2019. Bought the owners suite and requested a bicycle 1 year, 6 months, 1 month & 2 weeks before the cruise. Each time we were “assured it was done” When we arrived it was NOT done. We were told no cycles were available anywhere in Munich, Vienna or Prague. I called a shop in Vienna and they said there Was plenty available. AMA continuously lied to me and our travel agent. Moreover the Romanian crew was smarmy, inexperienced & droned on endlessly about themselves. Ask a question, they'd cut you off midsentence, and recite a script they memorized. Hospitality robots. Dutch captain was outstanding. The vessel is extraordinary. Everything else was cookie cutter. Nothing special here. Three star operation with five star pricing.

This is the River Cruise to take from Amsterdam to Zurich. We experienced high class dining, exceptional pampering from the superb staff, and wonderful land excursions. It has something for people of all abilities. They offer biking, hiking, walking, and gentle land excursions. We will never forget Marc, our trip manager, who stayed close by, to guide us through our 4 day land extension in Switzerland!

The Danube cruise could not have been more fun. So interesting, loved all the stops along the way. Never a dull a moment. The crew were very warm and welcoming. The state rooms and dining experiences were much more than I expected. Can't wait to go on the Southeast Asia cruise - I'm hooked.
