Buffalo Inn is clean and comfortable. We appreciated the refrigerator, microwave and other amenities. It is an older motel that is being updated, The owners were friendly, accommodating and work very hard to make this a pleasant place to stay. We would definitely stay there again.

I just checked in so I can't attest to everything just yet, but 1st impression is off the chart. This place is cute. I love motels (motor hotels) where you have a exterior door that you can park in front of. What I find absolutely wonderful is the fact that the room is clean. Yes, it's an older motel, but they have been updating inside and out. I love the updated vintage feel. I stay in hotels probably 200 nights a year so I see ALOT of updated but dirty rooms, that's far from this place. And as a person who carries binder clips incase I have a room where the curtains don't quite stay closed, I appreciate the clothes pens holding the curtain closed. I'll update after I leave about bed, water pressure, and water temp.
Great hospitality! Clean rooms! Tammy and Victor were awesome people and very professional! It sits right in the perfect place.... across from West Texas A&M University. I am recommending this Buffalo Inn in Canyon Texas.
We did lighthouse trek in winter (January 2021). It's beautiful... Especially the last 15 minutes of hiking to the lighthouse.
great stay visit was good we came for camping and too much windy!!! stayed in canyon at small vintage motel and it was a great experience!!
Vintage is the keyword here, but don't let that scare you away! My room was CLEAN n comfy! Price is GREAT and plenty of fast food within walking distance.
We really enjoyed our stay. The owners are very nice and helpful. It was the easiest booking process, convenient layout, and our king bed room was great. Big showers, clean, updated, and an affordable price. Our go to place in Canyon now!
This motel was very clean and nice. There was lots of hot water and recently updated. They did a really good job. I would stay here again.
