We had a fantastic experience several days ago. Robin of SouthEast Expeditions led a two-couple kayaking tour of marshes and an uninhabited barrier island. On our own, we never would have gotten to the amazing places Robin took us. We learned a lot about the wildlife refuge's birds and plants as well as the history of the area. And these folks are incredibly expert -- they delayed the start of the tour because of high wind, predicting with uncanny accuracy when the wind would subside. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could!

We did a kayak tour of the wildlife refuge with Tristan in July. It was by far my favorite thing that we did on our trip to Cape Charles! My wife and I took our two young boys and everyone had a great time. We highly recommend!

My daughter (13 years old) and I visited SouthEast Expeditions this afternoon for the kayak-clamming tour and it was AMAZING!! It was our first time kayaking. The tour guide was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Cute too!!! We felt safe and had lots of fun! Choose SouthEast Expeditions, guys! You won't be disappointed.

We had an awesome tour with SouthEast Expeditions. We took the 2-hour Wildlife Refuge tour and it was a delight. The paddling was easy, the views incredible, and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable - putting us at ease about our kayaking skills and sharing a real reverence for the ecosystem. Highly recommend!

If you live in Hampton Roads and haven't checked this out, your missing out. Best way to see the Eastern Shore (the wild bits).
