We stayed a couple weeks in an apartment *directly* across from the Supreme Court, which was a thrill, tbh. The apartment was a decent sized studio (with a separate sleeping alcove and dining nook), very well appointed and spotless. And a very functional and higher-end kitchen. The building is a nice one, not too big, very easy access, and completely quiet. We loved the location, and there are convenient stores (Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, etc) and many restaurants within walking distance. And obviously, very convenient to attractions. The owner (Brian) was helpful, quick to respond, and very friendly, just through messages. Very well run business, they know what they are doing. Highly recommended!

Had the pleasure of staying in one of the Carriage Houses. It was a perfect little home for our stay with a 2 block walk to the Capitol, corner markets nearby, and well-lit street and sidewalk paths. The Carriage House was cozy and clean and Brian went above and beyond to make our trip comfortable!

My wife, son, and I stayed here while our house was under renovations, and it was a real sanctum of peacefulness and comfort on Capitol Hill. Having once lived on CH, I had never seen this place before but was delighted at its history, amenities, and proximity to restaurants, the Library of Congress, and Eastern Market. Brian was responsive and timely in communicating too.

Our stay was amazing. The neighborhood was great and everything was very convenient! The house was beautiful and the patio area out front was the perfect place to sit and relax. Parking was easy and most things (market, pharmacy, restaurants) were within walking distance. Thanks Brian for the recommendation of Jimmy T’s, it was delicious.

My friend and I came to Washington DC for a girls trip to visit her daughter and my son, who is a student there. We loved the apartment from the first second we stepped into as it instantly felt like a home away from home. It is beautiful and well furnished with high ceilings and tall windows. The apartment is immaculate and every detail is attended to, including a coffee pot that makes delicious coffee and quality linens that are so comfortable after a long day of seeing the sites. It is located in a safe neighborhood and is a nice walk to The Eastern Market, independently owned boutiques, restaurants, a CVS and a wine shop. The apartment is so inviting that we decided to cook there one night and it was so convenient that the The Eastern Market is full of lovely fresh vegetables, fresh meats and a bakery. Outside the market were street vendors with quality goods to sell which was so fun to browse. I have found that where you stay can make such a difference in the tone of a vacation and this one certainly did. It was a such a wonderful time and I’m looking so forward to visiting DC with my husband and staying there again.
