Our wedding cake was made here and did not disappoint. Tasted great, looked great, and personalized service was appreciated. Price was also very reasonable.

This beach side donut shop has been serving delicious donuts since 1969. Not only a local favorite but a San Diego County favorite. It's not uncommon to see lines of donut afficianados wind around the block. Being from Nothern California I had to go to see what all the hubbub was about. Known for their Blueberry Buttermilk Bars I tried several times to procure them but they were always sold out. Finally after driving in the early morning hours I was lucky enough to get some. Although they were a little dense for my taste they were absolutely delicious and I now see why they are a favorite. In addition to their Blueberry Buttermilk Bars I tried their Buttermilk Bar which was one of the best ones I've ever had. (Flaky and light with the right amount of glaze) I also tried their Chocolate and Maple Bars. The glazes were amazing! Thick with deep rich flavors! This shop is a definite on your foodie wishlist. Just be sure to get there early.
VG did EXACTLY what we wanted with our wedding cake. They asked great questions, have amazing photos on their website, and have a great feel for their customers. Reasonably priced, delivery option, just great all the way around.
I really enjoyed the seasonal cupcake and donut. The donut is chocolate with a candy cane glaze.
Glazed donuts are amazing! ,The chocolate chip cookie was good but a little too crunchy. But the chocolate iced donut...WOW!!! One of the best I've had! They're set up the line outside to comply with the whole COvid thing but it all moved quickly & efficiently. Great value too so splash out - it wont break the bank!
