I like this school. The staff is highly qualified. The teachers are very nice. My son is happy. They make us feel like family. There is always an opportunity to perform or to participate in a contest. I highly recommend this school.

I decided to take up piano lessons last year and shopped around a bit before landing at the Music Institute at Carrollton Square. I was anxious diving in as an adult, but my teacher Anna made it such a great experience and the staff had lots of options for accommodating my schedule. My one complaint is that it's sometimes hard to find parking downtown, but the location on the square is lovely.
I’m so glad that my girls have been apart of the music institute since we moved to the area. We love the community feel at the school, and are impressed with their excellent teachers. The girls are excited to go to lessons and are making progress each week.

I have been pleased with the quality of instruction that my daughter has received, the value of the lessons, and the numerous events that the school hosts for its students. My daughter is in her second year with MIC learning piano, and on her second teacher. It is easy to schedule lessons that fit your schedule. Monthly rates are lower than most other schools. It is easy to schedule make-up times as needed. Communication with the management is on a weekly basis. We can't do every event, but the school does coordinate with the City of Carrollton for various events, like the Switchyard festival. The school also hosts recitals at Brookhaven free from additional charge (I believe 1x semester) so that the students get recital experience.
