I agree with all the reviews about how small the RV sites are. Although the location is fantastic, this place should be ashamed of themselves for how tiny the sites are. We have a tiny 10 ft retro pop up tent trailer and our trailer barely fit on the site! Our last night was the worst. At around 8pm a old rusty uncle Eddy trailer pulled in next to us and ran their generator for hours which spewed exhaust right at us. The rules are no generators allowed so I kept waiting for staff to tell them to turn it off. They never did so we finally had to tell the people to turn it off because it was making us sick! I was under the impression since Covid that the RV campgrounds needed to limit capacity. Not this place, fully packed in like sardines. They should be shut down. I will never stay here again!

My review is for TENT CAMPING only: And yes, I saw the RV spots were very tightly put together. So camping, have never been here before you need to realize (which they don’t explain very well) there are Drive up sites and walk in sites. They asked this when reserving and I was a bit confused as I was thinking I’m not coming in on a bike or hiking in.?.?. So I said I want a drive up site. They gave us site 0 not zero but 0, we pulled up. Just being with my girlfriend and I, we were taken back about the condition and the size of the site. Carved out of 10ft high bushes, there was only enough space for a small 4 person 8x8 tent and that’s it. We went back and lady was very nice let us know which other sites were available. We decided on a walk in site as it was not far from were we could unload and then park. They had wheel barrels for us to use which helped tremendously . Overall great time after finding a good site. Very nice showers, everyone wearing masks, staying distant and everything looked clean. Only a 1.50 for a 7.5 min shower! One downside was the maintenance men who ride around At 7am on the loudest golf carts, they basically yell when speaking with campers that are up and awake instead of trying to be quiet till quiet hours are over. One night an RV group starting packing up at 4am being so incredibly loud with no one in site to keep them quiet. I won’t put that against them as that probably doesn’t happen too often. I was able to walk to the beautiful beach from my site within a few mins. The store is very well stocked, with beer, wine, food, cigs, s’mores, fishing stuff etc. Will be back now that I know the good sites to reserve.

Just spent four nights here. Nice clean park with super friendly staff. The sites are really close together but it is a small area and they are maximizing space. Besides who drives to the coast to sit at their campsite. Go explore! Great little beach access right across the street to start and end the day with a little beachcombing. Management is serious about the quiet hours. Right at 10pm someone is out shutting down any parties. I appreciate this but if are looking for a party this is not the place to stay.

It's very beautiful here, but know what you're getting into. If you have a big family and don't want to spend a lot, this isn't the place for you. The rv spots are so close together that you could reach out your door and practically touch your next door neighbor's rv. Unless you're looking to spend more money, this isn't the place. Good sites (more expensive ones) you'll get about five feet between you and the space next to yours. You get a relatively nice campfire bin and all hook ups. For the cheap spots (75 per night), you get a tiny little wheel rim for a campfire that's set up right next to your neighbor (probably a fire hazard), hook ups that are barely maintenanced (father's a certified electrician and said they were dangerous to be so loose) and your picnic table to squished up against the neighbor's rv. Yes, you do get beach access. We spent two nights here and it cost us 180. Whereas we spent two nights at another place with a walk's access to a beach (in another location) and it cost us 80. It was much spacier and gorgeous. I realize this place is not the place we stayed at nor is it in the same location. But WORD OF WARNING, staying at this place means being crammed in like sardines and enjoyment in your own rv comes at the cost of others as well. Oh, and there's no place to park your car after dropping the rv off. TO SUMMARIZE: beautiful place, but expensive spots for cheap stuff.

Convenient facilities, very easy to hook up electric, water, sewer and TV cables. Friendly staffs provided really helpful assist. Camping fire is great and my son like it very much. Only one thing is complaint that the network connection is too slow to receive even a snapchat messages... might be the site is full. Great location and worthy to recommend.

Spent the weekend here for the first time and it was fantastic! Easy to get around, convenient, friendly staff and guests as well as across from a spectacular beach with few people. Only negative is they could fix the road in the rv park. Was a bit rough. Definitely will be back! If I could give it 10 stars I would!

Caspar Beach RV has been a stable and long time friend over the last decade for me, when there was an abalone season, but even now I'll still go back for spear fishing and just relaxing. Best beachside resort along the coast in my opinion, their service and friendliness never wavered and the store always had what I needed. The camping is best by tent, where you can park in the full foliage, but RV or cabins are available. I usually request space 8, we'll back up the hill bit still open enough to hear the surf pounding at night. A large fish cleaning station is a great meeting place while cleaning the days catch, and often ends up with a potluck cookout. By far, the best spot for both quiet and friends on the Mendo Coast.

Nice RV and Tent campground adjacent to ocean beach. Most RV sites have electric, sewer, water and cable. Some don’t have sewer. If you can boondock also consider asking for tent sites. Those are more isolated and quiet. Also note that in winter the south sites get zero sun. It was muddy just from the morning fog and never dried out. Coin operated showers and laundry available. The store is well stocked. Close to great hiking and biking. Mendo and Fort Brag just minutes away.
