Called customer service to cancel before I actually activated or used my internet. They still charged me for one month (even though I never even opened the box and called right away to cancel). Weird policy.

Probably the most incompetent company I've ever had the displeasure of working with.
Actual service was stable. I cancelled the service because it was inadequate for a family 4 heavy users streaming video and music. However, disconnecting service was a nightmare. Over a 2 month period I had approximately 4 phone calls well in excess of 2 hours primarily with people who's english was near unintelligible. I was patient and friendly and had to endure frustrated \CS\ reps who at first kept me on the phone for an hour trying to convince me to maintain service against my clearly stated desire to cancel. Once I finally became frustrated the call mysteriously dropped. I called back again and spoke with another person who I told I was moving to Alaska to a location with free internet. 2 months later the calls from the Final Billing Department and Finance(?) Department who wanted to charge me for not returning the equipment. I provided them with the tracking confirmation and still had to endure 2 days and over one hour of phone time where I spoke with 5 different people 2 of whom were clearly annoyed that I did not want to pay their fee. So frustrating and easy to see how so many people end up with ridiculous credit collections. Avoid... or have your act together if you deal with these folks.
Customer service is anything but that, they do not care. At. All.
