Worst customer service we’ve ever had. Basically along the lines of what everyone else below is saying. Trying to set up new service. First time guy comes out and there is a blockage and can’t set it up. A few weeks later we get another appointment and the guys comes to the front of our house, plays on his phone and then drives off. We call customer service and after being transferred several times and two hours of being on hold or after they try to figure out why he left, they reschedule us for the next day. Well, next day rolls around and no one shows up. Call several times and they couldn’t get in touch with dispatcher, then tel us someone will arrive at 6:15pm, when our window was 9-5pm. No show. So unbelievably frustrating. We’ve also experienced calls dropping after waiting 15-30 minutes to talk to a human. I can’t get over what a horrible company they are.

I had an appointment for internet installation today from 3-7 pm. Took a half day off from work to come back for this appointment and when I got home I saw a note saying they came at 10:45 and I missed them. Called the number, explained that my window was from 3-7pm and after waiting on hold for a long time, I was the best they could do is come 2 days later. When they messed up, not me. If this is how you treat new customers, I don’t want to know how you treat existing ones. Very unprofessional and terrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and just get xfinity.
Century link is the worst Internet provider I have ever had. Convinced us to switch from Xfinity for “Faster, Direct, internet connection” but have lost connection to my internet on multiple occasions (even while being in the same room as the router) we even had to buy a WiFi extender because some parts of the house can’t even get a connection. Century Link is terrible, and we will be switching back to Xfinity.
Haven’t had Centurylink in over year thank God! Worst customer service, worst internet service, most dishonest, and I see from reading other people reviews they haven’t changed one darn bit! When I cancelled my account they did not cancel like I requested and kept charging me for a couple months or so for a service I was no longer using! Do Not set up automatic payments with this company as they will keep taking your money and you have to fight like hell to get it back! I had to cancel thru my bank!
Their residential fiber service is awesome and quite affordable at 65 a month !!! Get it if you can !!!!
