This is the best restaurant I have been to in a long time! We had wonderful service and our server made amazing recommendations! Drinks, food, atmosphere were all perfect! Our server even brought us out complementary drinks at the end!:) Great place for a date night, or fun night out with friends! No outdoor seating, but the tables were very spread out and I felt very safe dining inside the restaurant. Wish I took more picture of our food, but I only took some of the dessert:(Espresso Tres Leches & Pastel de elote) Will definitely be back regularly!!!

Outstanding takeout out from Amaru. They hit multiple senses! Each menu item was super flavorful in unique ways, and there was blend of textures and colors. I cook from home a lot and I want my restaurant experiences to offer something I might not think to make for myself and Amaru delivered. We got the Piononos, Solterito Salad, Chick-pea tacu tacu, and the Pernil. I know COVID has been hard on restaurants (and some have had to change their options, portions, and sometimes quality), but Amaru is still definitely delivering a great experience. I can't wait to try them indoors in the future! [Photo shows 1/2 quantity of the order]

WOW. In a city with a very high bar when it comes to restaurants, Amaru more than exceeds all expectations. Great food, service, ambience and experience. The drinks are phenomenal, strong and tasty and well-balanced. The appetizers are incredibly flavorful and unique. Literally every dish we had was incredible. I highly recommend the oxtail ravioli entrée, although there is really no going wrong with any choice at Amaru.

Great food and wonderful service. We’ve ordered the pernil for takeout several times and it is always delicious. For dine in, we loved the Cuban oxtail with ravioli, pulpo, and tres leches cake. The staff are so kind and make it a very enjoyable dining experience. As far as COVID, the tables were well spaced and the whole front side/window was open.
