Just delicious chicken and waffles. I always get the auntie Joyce and an extra side of mac & cheese and the yams. I reduced one star because I really wish the waffles were a little crisp at the edges to help from getting super soggy once the syrup is on there. But the taste is what dreams are made of. I love the sweet and salty combination with the fried chicken.

I ordered off of UberEats. I got the grilled chicken. The chicken definitely tasted plain to me and the cornbread was alright. But the greens were delicious and really carried the plate for me! Mac and cheese was good but I wish it was more cheesy instead of creamy. Yams were decent.
Good food. Second time being there I visited from Atlanta. Food was great! I had the Fried chicken wings with greens, mac and cheese and yams. It was delicious . Next time I visit Chicago I will be back
If you been here before then you already know whats up about this place. But for those who have not been then watch out you are in store for a flavorful rollercoaster leading to instant itis lol. The yams are to die for, so soft & rich made to perfection. The Mac & cheese is nice and creamy with the right amount of cheese in every bite. The chicken is always good as well plus the soft and fluffy waffle. They can never miss.
