I haven't had a single cider, beer, or bite here that I didn't like. Everything is good and last I heard was run and operated by lady brewers. The space is a former Masonic temple and is full of meat stone and iron work as well as historical artifacts. I recently purchased the Valentine's day dinner and it was so delicious. Stop in and support a unique piece of Chicago.

What a wonderful cool weather experience. The patio seating under the heated pergola was unexpectedly superb. It's like sitting in front of a fire on a cool winter night. Ambiance that is enchanting. The food and drinks are beyond compare.

Looks great aesthetically, food is tasty, but their chairs are more uncomfortable than McDonald's, which made the evening far less enjoyable.. it doesn't really matter where you sit, all of the seats are solid and the same height. I still have cramps in my hips from not being able to sit comfortably in their chairs. The beer menu has good variety of styles, but not enough 16oz pours. Yes, the non-16oz pours were listed on the menu, but I wanted a stout, which is only available as an 8oz. I don't care if they are 'specialty' beers, if it's not 16oz, what's the point? I don't drink any slower b/c the glass is smaller [shrug]. I'd also question the size of those 16oz beers? The 'beer' glasses looked visibly smaller, much more like 12oz, than the 16oz 'water' glasses.

Their outdoor patio is open with overhead heaters. If it's above 30 degrees I think it's totally tolerable. They have 2 hot cocktails which were great, I had the hot toddy and it kept my hands and soul warm. Reservations are preferred! I didn't see a reservation the day before but the morning of a bunch opened up. Tons of vegan options. The vegan nachos, cauliflower wings, and crispy 5-spice tofu were delicious. Their fries are an amazing hybrid of regular and steak style. Nice and thick and well seasoned. You might want to eat fairly fast though as the food cools down fast lol. Will definitely go back, I can't wait to try the patio out in the spring/summer!

This place is every bit of amazing. Although it was outdoor dining only, it didn't change the great experience we had at this restaurant. It seems to be somewhat of a secret gem I'm glad we discovered. The staff was awesome, very kind and helpful. The best part was the food. Kudos to the chef for preparing such deliciousness. The ciders were also quite tasty. There were many things on the menu I wanted to try. So we'll be back for sure. The brisket sandwich was soooooo good. This place has probably some of the best french fries I've ate at a restaurant. The shrimp and grits hit the spot. Now I have a new trest in the form of cauliflower wings. Never could have imagined I would like those. My only regret is that I didnt find this place sooner.
