I recently bought a house that had a mold issue in the attic. Initially I had planned to use a different mold remediation service but after they failed to respond to my calls to schedule time to come out, I moved on and found Mold Pro Chicago. After reading reviews from others that have used them, they appeared to be a good bet. I called the number, spoke to Joe, and described what I needed. He was able to give an estimate over the phone based on the sq ft of my house which was a fair price. They were able to come out of the next day and to the remediation. The next day his crew (two guys) showed up promptly at the agreed time. They told me what the will be doing and answered any questions i had. After about 2 hours the job was done and from what i can tell it the results looked great. I definitely recommend them for anyone to use and would use them again.

SEVERE HEALTH, SAFETY AND ETHICAL CONCERNS Joe would you please address publicly why your company doesn’t address the entire sq ft in attics that you are contracted to do, yet you still bill for it? Was it just my house that you didn’t address the entire roof deck and joists or is that your standard practice for all your customers that have insulation? Joe please address the questions above and avoid deflecting by stating that the initial contract was between you and the seller of my house. Per my request, the seller was required to remove the mold in the attic. Your warranty states it transfers to any subsequent owner, which is me. In my case, Mold Pro only treated easily visible sections, which ultimately left the mold that was the closest to my ceiling and closest to my family, it went unnoticed for 3 years! For 3 years we thought we had a healthy and safe house we were living in. It was all a lie! I gave them a chance to rectify the situation, they still didn’t address the areas in question within the original scope, they had the audacity to ask for additional payment and they have been unwilling to refund the contract. I ultimately had to go with someone else to complete the job. If you have used Mold Pro in the past or decide to use them in the future, I strongly urge you to inspect the corners of your attic. Also, verify in writing with Mold Pro that they will indeed move/adjust insulation to address all mold that is within the scope of the contract. I tried attaching pictures that show my grave concerns, but they aren't showing up for some reason. Check out my Yelp review to see the seriousness of the situation. I shopped around a lot before I decided to use Mold Pro Chicago to check the air quality in a room we'd seen what looked like mold. They were timely, friendly, reasonably priced, and explained everything thoroughly. Highly recommended!
I highly recommend Mold Pro. They are very educated and they know what they are doing. Very professional as well. They get back to you immediately and follow up with you also. Their prices are very affordable. I couldn’t ask for a more nice, respectful and knowledgeable company.
Hired for mold inspection prior to purchasing home. Claimed it was only a few select areas needed treated where they saw visible but never tested. Besides not cleaning air ducts hired for ( 2 days later diff. company found towel in ducts) they must not have properly inspected nor cleaned the mildew/mold areas. We are left spending 1000's fixing so much on our own and I as well as our animal have become very sick. If they had inspected properly and found how bad the mildew/mold is here we never would have bought this house. Now it's costing my health. Response to response....you are such liars. Wow. First you told me you don't do physical testing when I asked why you didn't. Also, I discussed when hiring you to inspect the house as it was a potential house we were thinking of purchasing. One simple air sample is not inspecting the house. Being professionals you should know spores and mycotoxins will have infested the drop ceiling panels, but you didn't. I didn't ask for a carpet cleaning, I asked to remove it and treat the concrete. You did not treat the concrete. There were chunks of debris coming from EVERY vent in the house. A towel was found in the duct work by the company I had come in and do the job after you. Your people cut and patched a hole to make it look like they did something. A filtration system should be left for minimum 24 hours when releasing and removing mold. I doubt your people even used one at all. They should have shut the furnace off while removing and releasing that mold. My furnace was only set to high temp instead of turned off. You refused to acknowledge your crew did not do their job and only gave me 225 back for half the price of duct cleaning out of the 2500 that was the cost for everything, when barely anything was done. You are such liars and now my health is paying the price.
Joe from Mold Pro Chicago was extremely helpful by providing me with not only their services, but with a great deal of advice on addressing issues with mold inside my apartment. I contacted Mold Pro Chicago just expecting to get quotes, but received a ton of information and was given many options on how to fix my problem. Joe was very quick with responses. I strongly recommend using this company.
