Eddie came out and cleaned and inspected our fireplace. He took pictures and explained in detail what was going on and gave us an honest assessment of our chimney's. He recommended some additional repairs that are needed to prevent any further damage. He followed up the next day with the inspection report and quote for the future repairs as promised. He was very professional and I was extremely impressed with the quality of his work and reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend Chimney & Fireplace Works and will certainly be using them again in the future.

I had searched around for months trying to find a way to get our fireplace usable. When we bought the house 2 years ago, the previous owners said they had disconnected the gas line to the fireplace because they never used it. I spent well over 6 months talking to multiple different companies on ways to get it to working in the most cost effective manner. The CHEAPEST option i was given was 3,800. The most expensive being upwards of 10,000. No way was that in the budget. One day I’m writing to another company to request a quote when I see a van drive by with the decal of “Chimney and Fireplace Works”. As fate would have it, I called and Eddie and he came over within a couple days and hooked the gas line up and got it working. His customer service was top notch and he didn’t charge me a penny to do that. Because of his helpfulness, I was willing to give him business when he suggested a new chase cap for the chimney. I’m so impressed with this company and will be using him for all future fireplace needs!
When our fireplace stopped working, we called several fireplace repair companies in the area. We had someone from another company come out and look at the fireplace for well over an hour before giving up and NOT fixing it. They told us there were likely several things wrong and they would need to order several parts and come back out to finish the job. We couldn't get in touch with them again, so we called Chimney & Fireplace Works. The scheduling was easy, the price was fair, and Eddie was able to fix and clean our fireplace in only 20 minutes. I'd give them 6 stars if I could! Really impressed with their quality of service, expertise, and honesty. Definitely going with them again for any future fireplace needs!
Excellent service from start to finish. The owner Eddie was present for each step of my chimney repair and gas log insert. He was very informative, communicated well, and made sure each step was done right. I also appreciated his commitment to wearing a mask during this pandemic. Thank you Eddie!!
I found a coupon in the newspaper, so I called the company. I was given an appointment for just two days away. It was for 12:30. At 12:35, Eddy called me to say the last job was running late, and he would be at my house within twenty minutes: a real professional!. When he arrived, Eddy showed me the pictures as he inspected the chimney. He explained what I was seeing, and gave me reasonable advice-- what was most serious, and the total costs for each option. When I contract the work, I'll definitely use Chimney & Fireplace Works.

During a very busy season for fireplace/chimney inspectors, Eddie made us a priority. The first sign of excellent customer service. He followed up to an “SOS” email that I sent him almost instantly, calling me to talk in person and to get more details. Eddie ended up at our home later that same day. He was able to confirm that a previous inspection of our fireplace (hired by potential buyers of our home) was completely irrelevant and inaccurate. He even came back a second time (at no cost) to double check another concern from the buyers, and again, ensured the previous inspectors statements were 100% false. He saved us money, gave us peace of mind, and proved that there are good people out there who are professional and do everything they can to best serve their customers. Thank you, Eddie.
