I was there with my 2 boys when they were very small back in 2016. It was one of the biggest blessings in our lives. To be cared for from a place of love from God (to me it was evident). God is in that place. There's nothing you need to worry about being there except getting yourself together. Nothing else. I need that again. Im honestly in a position that I don't want to be. Im thinking of coming again.... but this time Im working and my job will be further away from there. Can we even work while we're there? Also my kids school is close to me right now.... even though they're doing virtual school. They are scheduled to be back in the school building in a couple of months. Plus how is the population with the pandemic? Did it shorten? Please let me know cause I need a new start again. Not living with a man, friend or family member.

Laura's Home is a really special place. The staff is amazing and you can see how dedicated they are to helping people in need. It's heartwarming to see the relationships between the staff and the clients. I'm so grateful to be a volunteer here so I can see firsthand the difference Laura's Home makes in people's lives.

This place is truly amazing, first time I’ve ever felt peace, love, and safe all in one place. This place has helped me set goals for my future, which I haven’t had any in a long time. I’ve obtained my high school diploma, I’ve learned behavior skills, and now I’m setting boundaries for the first time in my life. The staff here truly cares, they are dedicated to seeing you succeed. I’ve never felt more like I belonged somewhere then here. So big thanks to the city mission for the vision that God gave them to help thousands of people each year, y’all the real MVPs.
