I really love visiting old churches. My son lives in the neighborhood and I came from California to visit him. I just had to come over and look at this church. Gorgeous, just gorgeous.

We actually had an Airbnb nearby, but the church itself that was around the corner and was stunning. Also for movie buffs, this church was used in the De Niro film, The Deer Hunter.

Beautiful church...it was never Russian btw... translation issue.. very few Russians immigrated to Cleveland... Carpatho-Rusyns or Carpatho-Ukrainians and Belarusians were the core of the church. Today that is mostly irrelevant.. just as the foundation here was in breaking away from the Greek Catholic Church... History! Vespers are beautiful!
