Wow! What a great place! I am new into getting into tarantulas and the guy working there was super cool and helpful. I had a thousand questions and he answered them! Didn't even seem frustrated (I know i can get annoying bombarding wtih questions haha!). Got my first pink toe tarantula now. Thanks a ton! Def sticking to this place for my needs.

They have everything you need and if they don’t have it they can get it I went to Petco for years like a dummy, I happened across this place after living here for three years and I’ve been shopping there ever since! Cheapest crickets in town and the staff literally know everything about reptiles snakes and amphibians that there is to know! 10/10 for price availability and knowledge and ease of shopping plus centrally located they really do have it all!

If I could leave no stars thats what I would do. Scales and Tales never handle their sugar gliders or bond with them so they become nice, loving pets. I bought one and it was absolutely terrified of humans. Also they completely overcharge. I bought another one from a breeder and she chills on my hands, willing goes into the pouch, and never crabs for a decent price. Scales and tails wanted to charge me 500. You can tell there’s a difference between sugar gliders that have been handled and cared for since babies and those who have just been left alone. It takes MONTHS to bond with an aggressive sugar glider. Oh, and they don’t offer refunds. They don’t let you hold them when you’re picking one out and I see why now. I highly recommend NEVER buying a sugar glider from Scales and Tales. They dont have time to care for them
