New to area and looking for a new meat market. This was our first trip to Majkszak’s. Bought Filet Mignon, bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp, chicken breast and stuffed chicken breast w chorizo. Tonight we cooked the Filet (sous vide then seared in cast iron skillet) and stuffed shrimp (baked). That steak was as good as any steak I have ever had at any restaurant. The guy behind the counter was very helpful. Can’t wait to smoke the stuffed chicken w chorizo sometime this week. I have found the restaurants around Montgomery to be a little lacking relative to where we came from. So glad I found a 5-star meat market.

Quality is the best, always and the service is very friendly every time I shop here!!!! I don’t buy grocery store meats anymore!!! The prices are comparable too, given that you are getting a much better quality product!!!

They have a great variety of meats! A lot of their fish is farm raised but I did buy some wild caught red snapper that I am looking forward to! Most of their shrimp is from the gulf. They also have a lot of meats that are marinated and ready to cook along with seasonings and sauces for sale. I love supporting local businesses when I can and I definitely recommend this one!
