NCTC has handled the remote registration and their remote classes horribly. Registration This is a very long process and you might talk to several people before getting to the right one to assist you. They will come up with a million excuses on why they cant help you and have to send you to someone else. The disorganization is unreal. Online classes The teachers for the most part and not trained correctly to be teaching remotely, They don't know how to operate the Canvas Software and it makes it difficult for the students to really apply themselves when you have to go to several different sites to do one assignment. Overall I would not recommend this school until they get people that care about their students success.

FYI they charge out of district prices to people living in Denton. It's about 600 a class here if you live in Denton. They also stop giving full refund the day before school starts. They cost about 3 times as much as TCC or other community colleges. If you live in Denton, you may save money commuting to another school.

It was a very long trip but for a good cause stribling food throughout the Metroplex

RUN! Absolutely the worse school a person could attend. Don't waste your time or money on an \education\ here. Collin, Dallas, or Tarrant County colleges are way ahead of this institution if you need a community college credits. The instructors lack the skill to communicate.

Expensive compared to Dallas College (formerly Dallas County Community College District). Dallas College has several campuses in several cities over a wide territory, whereas NCTC'S main campus is in Gainesville,so campuses outside Cooke County are considered out of district. I was out of district for both NCTC'S & DC, but the credit hour rate and courses offered by DC blow NCTC out of the water, especially if you are out of district & want on-line courses. I think registration is easier with DC, as well.
