The buying experience with Alyssa was outstanding. She was very informative about all our options. Our home was delayed at the factory due to covid-19 and Alyssa kept us up to date with the new projected date of completion. We bought our home from this location but had it set in the South Texas area and because of that they had to pass control of all maintenance issues and etc. to the San Antonio location on Austin Hwy however Alyssa still goes to bat for us when we have issues or questions.

We closed on our home July 2020. We were not given our keys until December 22. We were given the run around on just about everything!! We never could get a straight answer on what took so long to get our home. Since we have moved in our front porch light is still not fixed, we have been told numerous times someone will be out. We still have light fixtures without light bulbs and globes that they say are being delivered. Our bath tub faucet is broken and still not fixed and what tops it ALL off is tonight our septic backed up into all of our bath tubs. Just from the way it looks the septic is not even hooked up to electricity. It has been one problem after another. I am not sure I would ever recommend Clayton homes to anyone! Seems to me they only care about getting the house sold rather than there customer service!!
My daughter and son-in-law just purchased a home from Clayton, after months of waiting they were finally able to move in. Since they have moved in they have had several problems that have not been fixed. I’m not talking about cosmetic issues. We are talking about electrical and septic. The first thing we noticed was the porch light not working. We called and they stated they would get someone out. It has been since December 23rd and the only reason someone came out today (1/8/21) is because my daughter left a review and they want the review removed. The worker that was sent to repair the electrical/front porch light had no idea what he was doing and said he will be back tomorrow with his boss, this is after he was shocked. Then Last night (1/7/21) I get a call that both bathtubs are full of septic water and my husband has to assist. There was no breaker hooked up, which we were informed that there is no way that was possible because it wouldn’t have passed inspection. Which I find quite comical because the only inspection I’m aware of was a couple of pictures were sent to said inspector. Here we are at 6:30 on a Friday and the septic has again backed up in the bathtub! My daughter receives a call from the office she purchased the home from and was basically told that the manager and whomever else are going to be upset about the review and will not be willing to fix things in a timely manner, something to the effect of throwing their arms in the air. I understand things happen. What I’m not understanding is why is it taking so long to fix these problems and why are professionals not being sent to address these issues.
First of all I would give way more than 5 stars. I will recommend Clayton Home Corsicana to anybody who want a new home. Mr Clay the manager has completely stand behind their service. shortly after we moves into my new place the city decided the trailor had to go further back was not in Code. Mr Clay said not to worry they would take care of everything which they have. He calls just to make sure we are OK while the project been done. He told us there will be no out of pocket expenses on our part and did more than I ever expected a company to do. Mr Clay and his staff has the best customer services ever. If I need another house or anybody I know want a new place I would highly recommend them. Thank you for everything.
