This spot is my preferred one. I go to a lot of restaurants but to this one I constantly return again and again. The team is very welcoming and the cooking they cook is so yummy. I never decline to have a decent meal here. I recommend this place with pleasure.
I always visit El Abajeno when I can when I'm in town. Take it from me: the carnitas taquitos are what you want. Soft tacos with the most melt-in-your-mouth shredded pork you can possibly imagine. I wish I had some RIGHT NOW. Served with cheese and avocado: 1 is a modest meal, 2 is a filling meal, and 3 is a decadent meal. I'm sure the other items on the menu are good, but the carnitas is the real draw. Enjoy!
Best Mexican food by far in Los Angeles area. Even George Ramsey would love this place. A last week marked my 35 year anniversary once you try your hooked for life!!
