I'm aware that it's 13 outside today and snowing, however my heater has been running an average of 20 hrs/day based on my Nest history for the last few days. The house wasn't reaching the set temperature of 72, and was blowing cold air. I called this afternoon and spoke with Melissa who advised me I would receive a call from a technician to further assist me. Jose completely came to the rescue!! He listened to my concerns and talked me through the adjustments that needed to be made to my thermostat. I had no idea that there was an emergency temperature setting that needed to be set in order for our heater to run properly in these grueling temperatures. He walked me through the steps with ease and we were able to resolve my issue. Since it's Sunday I was concerned about possible further issues. Jose assured me that he was here for me and to contact him directly after about an hour for an update, or if I had any other issues. Thank goodness we got the issue fixed together and my family can face these next few snowy days in our warm and cozy house. Thank you for the outstanding customer service and speedy resolution Jose!

We used Nations Home Warranty and they dispatched A-Star twice. The first occasion was for commode issues. They replaced one commode, fixed the flange on the other, and cleaned out the tree roots from the outside sewer pipe that were causing backups. On the second occasion, they repaired two sinks/faucets that were leaking, and did a quick fix on the pressure relief valve on the water heater. Very prompt and courteous service and they got each job done quick. Can't comment on their pricing since we only had to pay the warranty deductible, but we were VERY pleased with their service, timeliness and professionalism.

A Star is an outstanding service company. I called 2 days before Thanksgiving because I smelled gas in my home; the field supervisor was at my house within 1 hour. He unfortunately found multiple leaks in our gas lines, but he had a team of 4 at my house at 8AM the next day to locate and repair the lines. My husband and I were constantly updated with the status of the investigation and the repairs. We received photos of everything they completed, both pre-repair and post-repair. I felt each plumber was extremely knowledgeable and perfectly capable of completing the repairs and I felt very comfortable with them being in my home for three days straight. The field supervisor was always available to discuss a situation further even if he was not at my home; he always answered the phone and knew what was going on at my house so he could answer any questions I had. I feel he and his team went above and beyond the normal work to be done. I genuinely felt they cared about my situation and did everything as quickly as possible to get the problem remedied. I will always use A Star for any future projects; they have excellent customer service and very good people working for them, which is very rare these days.

Technician checked heating unit in attic and found gas leak. Replaced part for 754. I have no way of knowing if price was good. Work was done fast, and technician was courteous and professional. Tech showed me video of his test device finding the gas leak. I'm very glad to no longer have gas leaking in my attic.
