We were brought here by someone who knows food - this was clearly proven by the end of the meal. The fact that he is also a neurobiologist who knows how to synchronize the brain's pleasure centers with exceptional food presentation and flavor didn't hurt! We started with a superb assortment of the appetizers - all good. I had the turtle soup (Louisiana snapper) which was actually excellent; slightly spicy and delicious. Then, the recommended house special: Perry’s Famous Pork Chop. I was going to have a nice healthful red snapper special that sounded delicious but our host recommended the specialty of the house (who eats fish at a steakhouse known for the special pork chop anyway?!). This thing was a monster, carved right by our table, yet so perfectly pleasing that I did not feel stuffed (and even inspired me to swim two miles at the Rennaissance hotel in the morning). The story that came with the meal was that this is a very special pork chop, slowly smoked and caramelized over several days. However this was prepared, it is truly masterful and does a body (and brain) good! Three different red wines were all excellent and moderately priced. Go to Perry's; have the Famous Pork Chop!

Easily a new favorite spot for us. It was our 6 year anniversary this past Sunday, so we decided to treat ourselves to a nice steak dinner and chose Perry’s as the spot. I ordered the tomahawk steak since I’ve always wanted to try one and instantly fell in love at first bite...Perry marinated this steak perfectly that it melted right in your mouth. All the sides and deserts were excellent as well as drinks and service. I would highly recommend. Ambient environment and perfect views of Dallas. You won’t be disappointed with your decision it you dine with them!
This premium southern steakhouse chain serves up classic Americana meats accompanied by classic Americana appetizers and sides. Inside is elegant, romantic, beautiful, and expensive. Yes, expensive, this place ain't cheap! Fortunately I was being wined and dined by a respectable and unnamed company with deep pockets.
