Exceptionally mismanaged property. Routine physical fights and heightened verbal altercations amongst the staff and guests. Theft is pervasive and the property lacks basic security functions such as cameras. The door is ALWAYS unlocked and anyone off of the street can come in. Most of the guests are long term male residents with substance abuse issues. They love to harass female guests. I do not recommend this “hostel” at all. This is a glorified halfway house. The interior is filthy and never cleaned by the staff.

The staff was attentive to the guests and did a great job at cleaning up and making sure everybody felt welcome. After staying at many hostels on this planet I can honestly rate this one as excellent. The dishes get washed immediately and after staying there a few days and seeing how they treat their guests i would highly recommend it. Also the guests were getting along with the other guests very well. The SFO Crashpad is quiet with good vibes. That's my experience.

I actually paid for a week but left after 5 days. Someone decided to throw water on my bed so I left. Called the manager later that morning. Said would look into it but never got back to me. Stay far away from this place. It's nothing more then a homeless shelter. It's not what they say it is.
This place is close by to the airport and I stayed here for one night just before flying back home. Perfect place for a #solotraveller. It's lively and safe. The best part was the sight of the two adorable cats sleeping hugging each other and makes you go awww. The closest grocery store is about 1km walking distance. Definitely would recommend this place. Just one question to the owners: how come the tails of the cats were cut? Hope no harm was done. ( Thank you for your response. Cheers guys) #localguides #solotravel
I can't say enough about how thankful I am to have found SFO Crashpad. I needed a last minute place to crash and was surprised by how truly exceptional my stay was. Everyone was friendly to the extreme and went out of their way to make me feel welcome and ensuring I had everything I needed. Thank you for such a great experience!! If I am ever in the area again I will definitely stay again.
What can I say about this place!? It’s a second home for me.. I got nothing but love for this place.. you definitely get your money’s worth.. I highly recommend this place.. it’s safe and it’s clean, with breakfast provided.. what more can you ask for ?!,
ITS LIKE A HOUSE! Full kitchen with fridges if you have food. Friendly manager. Cool house guest and HUGE TVS. To sum it all up its like a luxury house with roommates in a dorm style setup. Thanks for having me!
