Dr. Gopal was amazing during my visit. The only thing I'm not fond of is the person that checked me out (I believe her name was Christine? Christy? Christina?), she had the worst attitude. Unfortunately they're also a hard to get a hold of. I have my endoscopy next week and I received a call today telling me that I needed to do a COVID test 2-3 days before my endoscopy. It would be nice to not tell a patient that at the last minute because 1) we most likely are working on the weekday so I can't suddenly ask off or leave early at my job and 2) COVID testing require appointments. They called and asked if I could come in on Friday to do the COVID testing but I work that day. I've been playing phone tag with someone and every single time I call the main line I get forwarded to voice mail. It's quiet frustrating.

It is my pleasure to tell my experience with the Gastroenterology Specialist of Dekalb. Tho this is my first time having a colonoscopy at this location, but my wife was here over a year ago. But my perspective today is about the service given and the people within the walls. The people who are very friendly, and make you feel comfortable every visit. They take the time to explain the procedures, each step of the way you are caring hands from front office to beds and changing areas, they are there to guide you. Making sure that prior to the procedure you are on your left side, and appropriately positioned for your comfort and for doctor. Afterwards I wasn't just released but spoke with e Doctor directly, who made me aware of how it all went, and instructions for next few days. Then there is followup calls checking on your well being. No one would just volunteer, to have a colonoscopy, but if you need to have the procedure, there is NO BETTER facility than this one. And Dr Harris is the Best, before during and after in the business!

I gave them 5 stars because of Dr. Johnny Jones. I had a great experience with him. If you want a physician who listens to you and is genuinely concerned about your health, he is the one you want to see. I had several issues going on and he went the noninvasive way to get to the source of my issues and gave me the answers to the questions I had. I had previously seen another Gastroenterologist who only wanted to put me on medication and do an endoscopy without doing labs or further investigation into the concerns I told him I was having. Dr. Jones did a wonderful job of coming up with a plan of care that worked for me and I couldn't be more happy with the service I received from him and his staff.

I have been dr. Jones patient for a little over 2 years. He is attentive, brave, calm, knowledgeable, observant, very responsible, reassuring, skillful, trustworthy! The staff are very friendly, attentive, humorous, the clinic is very clean!

This clinic is a highway robbery. The medical practitioner is good but their charges are high. And one thing just boggles my mind... They charge me extra 40 just to get the result of the diagnosis, test in a paper...their policy is that they report the diagnosis and test verbally....are they serious...?!? I feel that it is my right to have the report of diagnosis and test in a official document after I pay for it but they are charging extra. I have never heard about these kind of policies and have got a printed test result anywhere I had medical examination...these policies are worst than many 3rd world countries medical system policies. And the only thing they have to defend is that they slip this additional fees statement somewhere between the patient agreement and tout it. Please find some good hospital or clinic somewhere unless you want to pay higher prices for simpler test and had additional fees for every simple request. Such a scam they are running....
