I broke the fifth metacarpal bone in my right hand and was referred to this place. We called to schedule an appointment and were informed they only do same day appointments. Well that's kind of an issue since I work out of town. But I finally managed to get in town to schedule an appointment and I'm being told the doctor is booked through the rest of the week. Another issue is the receptionist's just keep putting me on hold, and waiting till it force radials so they pick back up and put me instantly back on hold.

Very professional staff, treated us like we were one of their regular patients, called us by name. Point to point on the decision made on diagnosis and treatment. Would Highly recommend Thks to all the staff and Mr Odell. We are now on the mend

Just nope. Dont waste your time because the lady was rude as hell. She says i need a referral from my PCP which is no issue then she began pretty much screaming that my PCP has to refer me to some sort of urgent care facility before they would even consider taking my case. Guess what? I'm not going to mix myself up with that.

I have mixed feelings about Dr. Carter. I was in a great deal of pain after my ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) Surgery in 2009. To this day my knee still hurts. The good news is that the ACL is great. The cold therapy unit I used gave me nerve damage. I have resigned myself to accepting that the never ending pain I feel in my right knee will be a lifelong issue for me. His office staff had been very dismissive and unpleasant the polar opposite of Dr. Carter. I had two major two major surgeries within a six months from each other that both had unforeseen complications. I was at a low point and his staff did not care. I was going through a major post-surgical depression that went untreated at the time. Looking back I can see clearly there was major things both Dr. Carter and I should have done to take care of me better. 1st, I should have not missed as many appointments, it's hard to treat a person that is not there. For Dr. Carter's part he should have gotten his staff to chill out, act normal, and show compassion. Also. we both, should have done a better job getting to root of the Post-Operative Complications. Caring, compassionate and respectful are words that I would use to that I would use to describe Dr. Cater. I can not say the same for his staff. Maybe things have changed. Yet, whatever the case the work he did on my knee is standing the test of time and is in good working order for the most part. As for the nerve damage that is something if we had been communicating better I am sure he would have caught. It had nothing to do with him just a freak accident from the medical equipment.
