Are you kidding me? This was one of five places I got quotes/estimates for a water heater replacement and installation. Our first visit was Friday, 11/27/20 at around 11am. We were given an all-in price for 200-350 less than some of the other quotes and estimates we had received. I confirmed TWICE that the price included installation, permits, etc. Both times he confirmed the same. It seemed like a great deal and within the range of quotes we had been receiving. They show up half an hour ago for installation, on 11/30/20, and want to \discuss some of the pricing\ as one man is already working on unhooking my water heater. All of a sudden that first price only included the water heater and they are charging 2,800 more than originally quoted. They seemed extremely irritated when I said we wouldn't be proceeding with them and asked them to leave. They then come back up to the door and try to tell my wife (I was on the phone with another plumber at this point and didn't hear the doorbell) they'll do it for half of the price. She tells them no and they just sigh and act like she's inconvenienced them. First off, don't lie to me and try to use the bait and switch sales tactic. Second, how can you all of a sudden do it for half? Third, I would never let you back into my house for half the cost after the scam pulled earlier. Even if you're knocking half the cost off, I'm not interested in doing business with a company I lost trust in very quickly.
