I enjoyed another Latino quick stop. I placed an order hoping the feeling of the Island would be in the taste. They didn't disappoint. Would definitely make the trip in from Cville again. Even reheated the Bistec order was very tasty.

Holy cow, this place is amazing! Tons of gluten free options, including dessert! The jibaritos are just as good as the ones you can get in Humboldt park. Probably my new favorite restaurant, wish I didn't live 30 minutes away!

Was on my way to mcds and spotted this gem just minutes away from it. Jibaritos over mcds is no contest so we stopped in. I'm glad we did. The food was on point. Authentic and fresh. The plantain was not overfried and just tender enough to let you know that what u were eating was not sandwich bread but indeed a almost fully pressed fruit!. The chicken was cooked tender and seasoned just right. The mayo was barely noticeable cause of the onions and lettuce. It was a perfect balance. My wife had an egg ham and cheese that she loved just as well. In true hispanic fashion the flavors were legit enough that we ate them steaming hot to enjoy the full flavor profile as it's meant to be eaten. Fresh off the grill. We'll definitely be back again! I apologize for no picture but the Sammies were to well dressed to survive long enough for a photoshoot. Next time!

It was my Boyfriend's and I first time here and the food was very good. The pastelillos meat needed a little more flavor but overall the Jibarito and Pressed Sandwich was delicious.
