My Italian Mom went to St Patrick / St Anthony school in Hartford. Every St Patrick’s day she’d make a killer corned beef and cabbage dinner. When I saw DiFiore Pasta shop was offering corned beef and cabbage ravioli I felt I had to give it a try. I got the Guinness Stout butter to go with went home and cooked myself up some lunch. Like everything I’ve gotten from DiFiore’s the ravioli were awesome as was the stout butter...not sure what Mom would think of the fusion but I’d bet she would approve

Beware!!! The food is very good and their cheese cakes and pastries are also. BUT BEWARE ordering from the Rocky Hill store to be picked up at their new Ellington location, not yet open will get you nothing bur disappointment and frustration. Chios is putting it accurately. Many others and us had to return twice spending a total of 1 1/4 hours waiting resulting in leaving with out anything. They suggested calling the store requesting a refund. Others in line had the same results ruining their planned holiday dinner dessert. They offered to deliver our order that night or the next day, Christmas before noon BUT NO SHOW. Others have stated they won't be returning to the Ellington store when it does open because of their lack of commitment to their customers. It's hard to imagine the lack of effort buy DiFiore. This includes my family and friends. One star is for service. Product quality deserves five.

Excellent balsamic vinegars in both quality and variety. The same is true of pastas, sauces and homemade dishes. It's well worth the trip, even if you live 40 minutes away, like I do!

Very busy. Lots of fresh prepared food. The meatballs are sooo delicious as are all of their spaghetti sauces...
