I used Michael from Direct Inspections to perform a pre-purchase inspection for a home in Palmer Ranch, which I am purchasing for my mom, who currently lives out of state. I am purchasing the home by owner, so I contacted Michael directly since I had used him a few years ago for a wind mitigation report for my home. I cannot say enough good things about Michael and the inspection he performed. I've have had numerous home inspections performed over the years and I have never seen an inspection report as detailed and thorough as the one I received from Michael. His professionalism and attention to detail is second to none. He even called me a couple days later to see if I had any questions. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

I had Michael inspect a townhouse in Sarasota that I was looking at buying. Michael was very responsive to my request for an appointment and carried out the work professionally. I work unusual hours but Michael made himself available to consult before the inspection and walk through questions afterwards. The full inspection included the termite, wind mitigation, and exterior/interior inspections. The report was detailed with pictures and explanations needed to understand the issues. I'd use Michael again in the future.
We highly recommend the services of Direct Inspections. Michael Koester (of Direct Inspections) inspected our newly constructed home prior to the end of our 12-month builder warranty to help us identify any potential construction issues. His interior/exterior inspection was extremely meticulous and highly professional and we were surprised by the number of issues he discovered! He provided excellent communication before, during and after the inspection, being very attentive to all of our concerns. While still on site and before issuing his report, he did a thorough walk-through with us to explain his findings and also took the time to answer general questions about features of our new home. His report was very comprehensive with excellent supporting photos and illustrations and was appropriate to guide our builder. He's the best inspector we've ever had!
