Two of my children have been taking piano lessons at the Downers Grove location. We have loved the warmth and patience of the instructors and the flexibility in terms of day, time, and location for the lessons. The instructors will come to students' homes too. Splitting the lesson time between the two kids helps with cost effectiveness also. We really liked our first instructor through AMI and were disappointed when he stopped teaching there. We wish there would've been more advanced notice on the instructor switch, but we have been pleased with our second instructor also and have seen the kids making steady progress.

Great teacher. Extremely friendly and very skilled teachers! I pay the trumpet and I notice a difference in my tone and range after only two months with my new teacher. Every lesson with him is a joy! I would totally recommend AMI to any musician at any level.
Downers Grove American Music Institute does a great job of doing both In School and In Home Music Lessons. They have a wide range of instruments and very talented teachers.
I've had a great experience with the staff at this school and find they are highly qualified. If you want experienced teachers who will teach you in-depth lessons, attend AMI.
