Dr. Bordenave has been my doctor for 20 years. He constantly continues to amaze me by calling me with critical information and updating me on what medications I need. He is very dedicated and motivated to provide excellent care to me. I recommend him to anyone who has a potential heart condition or has had a family history of heart disease. He is the most knowledgeable doctor I have ever met.

We are 70 and 83 years old, and live an hour and a half away .we were desperate to have better treatment than we receive right now. Only to be greeted in the most unfriendly and uncaring manner by an elderly receptionist. My husband needed a referral, even though I had been told when booking he did not need one. My appointment was not recorded at all. The price was higher, and any question I had, she answered with “ I don’t know” with a face that could have growled a pit bull away. Good manners would have recommended an apology, even if it was not her fault. We were worried that the doctor might be just as unfriendly as his welcoming staff. Considering that we were an hour driving to get there and were prepared to pay what was for us a decent amount of money, we were extremely disappointed. And we are still extremely unwell. My husband had a mini stroke on the way back. What a sad day, when we had hoped so much to meet a good and caring cardiologist.

Very knowledgeable. I have gone to several doctors and a few Cardiologists at Cleveland Clinic and Baptist. They all did the same tests, prescribed the same pills and told me I was fine. Dr. Bordenve saw me once, asked me questions no other doctor asked and ordered one test no one else had and was able to diagnose my problem. You don't know how great it is to finally get a correct diagnosis. Took me off many medications, prescribed lifestyle changes and helped me make the changes I needed to do. He continues as my health coach, mentor and friend. Great DR and caring, compassionate man.
