I have always wanted to stay at this little hidden gem and I finally got my chance but, it was under strange circumstances. I was leaving a wedding (the photographer) and the roads where icy and my car got stuck! Luckily it was right in front of the Liney Moon! I got a hold of the manager on call and the let me crash in a open room so I didn't have to freeze to death in my car. It was so cozy! The hot shower was amazing! I definitely want to go back once the weather warms up and roads aren't iced over. haha!

Everything was great! Extremely clean and comfortable rooms- great place for big groups. Will stay here again
We stayed in one of the cottages with our 2 dogs and the place was cute and clean and the property was nice. A major positive was the location–it was close to all the places we wanted to check out in the area while also being secluded. Some minor things to note: the mini fridge is really small so I would suggest brining a cooler and the coffee machine definitely needs to be upgraded. The bed was pretty uncomfortable and we couldn't really figure out the AC so it was warm. Also, I would suggest bringing a small folding table to put outside on the deck with the chairs since there is no where to sit inside besides the bed. All in all it served the purpose that we booked it for–we didn't plan to spend much time there and just wanted somewhere to sleep and shower that was close to the breweries/distilleries/places to eat so if that's what you are looking for I would recommend staying here and I would definitely stay here again!

The Liney Moon is one of the best places to stay in Dripping Springs and host or attend and event. The main house is the perfect place for a large gathering with character and charm you won’t find at a hotel. The guest cabins and cottages are adorable and make you feel like you’re camping outside under the stars with all of the comforts of home. The staff is kind and helpful. I recommend this place for anyone traveling to Dripping!
I had two cottages. Very clean, and perfect . My wife and I were very pleased and so was our daughter and son- in- law in other cottage. Also, before we committed on the cottages, I had many questions.Dillon was very patient with me, answered all my questions, and her goal to please us was very obvious. We would and will definitely stay here again.
Other than my son getting married and being able to gather outside main house this place is and has been a real disappointment for several months. The "manager" Dillon is awful representative of this company. I have left her at least 2 dozen messages via voicemail, email and text and I am back home now and still have never spoke with her. My wife did text with her a couple of times to explain that my special needs sister would be with us and we needed sleeping for her as well and she said would have a pull out bed. Well that pull out bed she was speaking of is a cot much worse that even a military cot. We found rat droppings in our room. Trust me don't waste your money on this place. You would be better off in a tent and you will only be catered to get your money and after that you are on your own. You even check in on your own not even a greeting. Worst 411 I have ever spent.
Absolutely the BEST place to stay in the Hill Country. We have stayed over night, put our own guests up here, and hosted parties at The Liney Moon via their summer pool and porch rental program, and EVERY SINGLE experience was INCREDIBLE. You can truly tell that the owners want you to have a great experience - they have thought of it all!!!
